County Agencies - Lancashire Partnership Against Crime
The Lancashire Partnership Against Crime was established in 1992. Its aim is to assist the county's crime prevention efforts by creating formal links between the Lancashire Constabulary and members of other public, private and voluntary sector organisations.
LANPAC encourages greater public participation in the prevention and solution of crime, assists in measures designed to reduce the level of crime and provides education, information and practical assistance on crime prevention. It does this through providing resources to appropriate projects devised and managed by relevant specialists.
Associate membership is open to all public, private and voluntary sector organisations operating wholly or partly in the county of Lancashire, subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Associate members are asked to make a small annual donation, which is used entirely to further the objectives.
