  • Action on Elder Abuse - works to protect, and prevent the abuse of, vulnerable older adults. UK helpline: 0808 808 8141 - Ireland: 1800 940 010
  • Amnesty International - The Stop Violence Against Women campaign focuses on ending violence against women.

  • Barnardo's - Barnardo's helps children, young people and their families to overcome the most severe disadvantages such as abuse, homelessness and poverty.
  • Broken Rainbow - 08452 60 44 60. A telephone helpline for lesbians, gay men and bisexual or transgendered people experiencing domestic violence. It's staffed by workers from these communities.

  • Co-ordinated Action Against Domestic Abuse (CAADA) - CAADA is a charity established to encourage the use of independent advocacy as a way to increase the safety of survivors.
  • Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme - You may be able to claim compensation through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme. To apply, you must no longer be living with your partner. Helpline: 0800 358 3601

  • Dads' Space Being a Dad is one of the most enriching experiences in a man’s life, enjoyable but at times a grind and frequently challenging. Dads-Space aims to tackle all of this - from the playful to the painful, offering no-nonsense advice and information based on Dads' own experiences and up-to-date research.
  • Dads' Space 1-2-1 the Virtual Child Contact Centre, which has been created for fathers who are separated from their children, either by work, or by the breakdown of a relationship. The 1-2-1 service encourages Dads to improve their relationship with their children; even enabling children to stay in contact with their Dad in difficult circumstances
