Countywide Initiatives - Arson Reduction
Youth Offending Teams are now in place throughout the county and consist of representatives from the:
- Probation Service
- Social Services
- Education Authority
- Police
- Health Authority
The Community Fire Safety department is developing and implementing an arson education programme for young people, which are identified by the Youth Offending Team as needing our service. Initially 6 officers deliver the programme and once the programme is finalised all the Youth Offending Teams will be officially informed of this service.
