Community Safety Strategy 2002 - 2005

The Community Safety Strategy 2002-2005 highlights the overall strategic priorities for improving community safety in the Borough of Chorley. It is formulated from:

• The findings of the Chorley Crime and Disorder Audit 2001 which was produced in consultation with local agencies, organisations and groups.
• The subsequent extensive consultation on the Audit findings which took place across the Borough with “hard to reach groups”, organisations, community and voluntary groups and members of the public.
• The identification of specific national priorities with measurable targets and actions.
