Fylde Community Safety Strategy 2005-08
The Fylde Community Safety Partnership has worked hard in recent years to ensure the Borough remains one of the safest in the UK. Communities are enjoying the benefits brought by many initiatives that have introduced CCTV, improved lighting, provided additional police resources, designed out crime and anti-social behaviour, increased diversionary activities for our young people and helped local agencies to work smarter to tackle crime and safety issues.
The success of this document relies on the commitment of the partner agencies and the involvement of the community and its representatives. It sets out the Partnership's strategic priorities for the next three years (2005-2008). Success will be judged on the delivery of the strategic aims and objectives, meeting or exceeding the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the case of the drugs strategy, as well as any additional local priorities.
