Community Safety Partnership & Contact Details

The Hyndburn Community Safety Partnership was formed in autumn 1998 and in response to the Crime & Disorder Act 1998. The main aim of the Partnership is to be responsible for, and add value to, the development and effective delivery of the Hyndburn Community Safety Strategy. In order to fulfil this aim the Partnership will be required to address community safety issues identified within the Community Safety Audit of the Borough. The Audit is conducted on a 3 yearly basis and provides a detailed picture of the main crime and disorder issues that affect the people of Hyndburn.

The Partnership currently consists of representatives from Hyndburn Borough Council, Lancashire County Council, Lancashire Constabulary, Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Primary Care Trust, Hyndburn & Rossendale Victim Support, Hyndburn Youth Offending Team, Lancashire Police Authority & the National Probation Service (Lancashire).

In essence, we will work together to make Hyndburn a safer, more comfortable place to live, work and visit.
