“The Preston Community Safety Partnership seeks to improve the quality of life in Preston by addressing community concerns and reducing crime and disorder in order to develop a safer community.”
Youth Issues |
Tackle youth issues, to reduce associated crime and disorder. |
Anti-Social Behaviour |
To tackle serious and persistent Anti-Social Behaviour, and related crime, including Criminal Damage. |
Violent Crime |
Reduce the level of violent crime. |
Substance Misuse |
Tackle the misuse of drugs, alcohol and solvents, to reduce associated crime and disorder. |
Mainstreaming |
To ensure that each function performed by each partner agency takes into account the need to do all that is reasonably possible to reduce crime and disorder. |
City Centre Crime |
To manage and reduce crime and concerns related to crime impacting on Preston City Centre. |
Prolific and Priority Offenders |
To manage and reduce offending by prolific and other priority offenders, and to seek to reduce the numbers who develop into prolific and other priority offenders, by use of three strands – Prevent and Deter, Catch and Convict, Rehabilitate and Resettle. |
