Rossendale Community Safety - Partnership & Contact Details
The Rossendale Community Safety Partnership was formed in autumn 1998 as a result of the Crime & Disorder Act 1998. The main objective of the Partnership is to be responsible for, and add value to, the development and effective delivery of the Rossendale Community Safety Strategy. In order to fulfil this objective the Partnership will be required to address community safety issues identified within the Community Safety Audit of the Borough. The Audit is conducted on a 3 yearly basis and provides a detailed picture of the main crime and disorder issues that affect the people of Rossendale.
The Partnership currently consists of representatives from Rossendale Borough Council, Lancashire County Council, Lancashire Constabulary, Rossendale, Burnley, and Pendle Primary Care Trust, Lancashire Youth Offending Team, Community Alliance, Voluntary Action in the Community, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, Rossendale Community Housing, Lancashire Police Authority & the National Probation Service (Lancashire).
In effect, we will work together to make Rossendale a safer place to live, work and visit.
