All fires where the cause is considered to be deliberate or malicious.

This includes all crimes categories under robbery, sexual offences and violence against the person.

Anti-social behaviour (police incidents):

This data has only been collected since 12 April 2005 . It is a count of all incidents recorded by Lancashire Constabulary as anti-social behaviour under the NSIR (National Standards for Incident Recording) counting rules.

Criminal damage (including arson):

A count of all crimes of criminal damage, whether to a building, vehicle or other property and of arson.

Deliberate vehicle fires:

This is a count of all vehicle fire incidents where the cause is considered to be deliberate or malicious.

Domestic burglary:

Includes all crimes categorised under burglary in a dwelling or aggravated burglary in a dwelling.

Domestic violence incidents:

A count of all calls to Lancashire Constabulary which relate to a violent incident in a dwelling. These are not crimes, but incidents dealt with by the Police where domestic violence occurs.

Partnerships in Lancashire are operating a policy to increase the reporting of domestic violence. You may therefore notice a percentage increase in your ward. This does not necessarily indicate that domestic violence is becoming more of a problem but that more is being reported.
